In 1999, after being transferred to Moline by John Deere, Daryl was assigned to St John Vianney by Bishop William Franklin. His primary deaconate ministries include assisting at weekend Mass, ministering baptisms and witnessing weddings, leading baptismal preparation classes, facilitating RCIA preparation, administering the FOCCUS questionnaire for newly engaged couples preparing for marriage, and facilitating the Marriage Preparation Weekends hosted at SJV for the Davenport Diocese. Daryl and his wife Patricia were married at St Joseph parish, in Sioux City, IA, in September of 1971. They have three children, six grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. He continues to work for John Deere and is currently a Quality Manager in the corporate office. His wife is a local realtor with Mel Foster. He has a BS in Engineering from Columbia University in New York and a MBA from the University of Northern Iowa.
